Culture in India is very unique that we respect and oblige the things and persons from which we obtain something weather it person is individual, nature, or cattle. In our culture Indian cow has given so much respect equalling to mother. This is because after mother milk, second thing a infant can digest comfortably is the cow milk and in past generations was grown on cow milk. Cow used to be kept at home, cow has good emotions and treated as family members. Besides this their uniqueness in many things weather it Ghee, dung or any by product. Even company of cow helps to go away many disease and this is scientifically proved.

Cow kept in family act as family member and First most important thing we need to understand about Indian cow is that if’s different from cow found outside India. First major identified difference it of Hump. Indian cow has hump but others don’t have. This hump is known as “Surya Nadi”, which take special energy from sunlight and products of Indian cow contains unique thing know as……….., makes it Ghee little yellow.

Further not it’s just presence every product of Indian cow is holy weather it to be milk, ghee, urine, dung. It can be described

One important thing we need to remember that Cow was backbone of our economy in past and it can support us in modern time also, we just need to scientifically implement some plans and other things. E.g. A-2 milk & it’s ghee is better than any other milk/ghee and that is provided by our Indian origin cow, Now focus is on organic farming for which cow dung is best, Gobar gas plant is successful in China but we could not make it viable in India till date to large extend, cow urine can have multiple use but not enchased completely. Cows are not actually going dependent on us but we made our systems/working like this, that circumstances has become worse for both, which need to be improved.

Objective

Our objective is work for welfare of Indian Gau Vansh (“Cows, Calf/Calves of Cow, Bulls and Bullocks” hereafter refer as cow) along with religious harmony. This inter alia includes improving food, shelter, health and better living conditions for them. Our vision is to work for welfare mean to focus more to make cow “Independent”, bringing cow culture back, promoting Gaudaan Culture at various auspicious occasions such as marriages or other Hindu sanskars or other happiness celebrations.
This objective can be achieved with one basic cultural philosophy “Pehli Roti Gaye ki”. So first we need to understand importance of it and let it to be learnt and followed by our new generation also.
Second thing we need to do en-cash value of Cow dung (Scripture call it Bhumi Amrit), by use of compost (normal or vermin compost), Gaukasht, Cow dung cellulose, Cow dung to be sued in construction material (bricks, cow dung paint, eco villages home) ,Pooja such as making diyas, dhoop agarbati, havan cup, Cow dung statues / painting, cow dung paper, cow dung carpets, cow dung mala, cow dung ante radiation mobile chip ect.
Cow Urine can also be used for fertility & biopesitisde in farms and, cow urine has importance as medicine.
Use of Milk is like “Amrit” , Ghee, Cow butter milk is also have importance in our flooding habit.
Cow to be used as doctor, use of its “Panchgavya”, Urine as medicine, cow milk can also be used as medicine when used with Soda, Sof, eliachi, badam ect.

Founder of Gaudaan

Gaudaan foundation trust is public charitable trust established on 12/07/2023(Reg. No. 443/2023) by CA Ajay Kumar Gakhar for welfare of Cow and other public interest activities such as education, culture ect. . Primary focus is to work in field of cow welfare by making efforts to make them towards independent. Its member/trustee includes various sections of societies which have faith in Indian culture and want to work to achieve the object targeted by trust. This process has been started from daily cow feeding weather in Gaushalla or on street on one part and production and/or promoting of gaukasht ( wood made from cow dung) to be consumed used in pooja/havan , at cremation center.

Gaudaan as name suggest meaning performing activity of donating cow, which in old era was handing over a milking cow along with calf to pandit/poor person which in turn will support them financially. Above concept has less relevance in current time due to urbanisation as more than 36% people resides in Urban area where is space is costly and managing cow is difficult and even not allowed at large. So we need to find out what should be practicalities of Gaudaan at current time and derive meaning for same.

It’s a really challenging work due to modernisation gau vansh which is used to be backbone of the economy and having cow was symbol of wealth in past but seems to be liability to some persons which they don’t want to carry. If we read Novel “Gaudaan” which was published in 1936 it shows that cow has considered as assets. India was agriculture based country and its profitability was dependent on Mansoon.
